Ceramics

With restless hands and a constant desire to create, I found in ceramics a way to explore matter, gesture, and personal expression.

My journey began in Cáceres, at the Eulogio Blasco School of Fine Arts, and deepened years later in Marvão, where meeting British ceramicist Stephen Course allowed me to develop my practice and approach a distinct language of my own.

I work with clay intuitively, exploring organic forms and sculptural volumes in a balance between intention and spontaneity. The Japanese raku technique occupies a central place in this process, due to the way fire and the transformation of matter give rise to unpredictable surfaces, unique textures, and unrepeatable tones.

I am interested in the tension between control and chance, between the form I imagine and what the materials reveal. Each piece is born from this dialogue and bears the marks of its own process — becoming unique in form, color, and presence.
