Marta Nunes

Marta Nunes was born in the spring of 1984, in Lousada. Architect by training, it is during her studies that she develops her first illustrations for the press. Since 2010 she has been part of several individual and collective exhibitions, but it is since 2019 she has been dedicating her time exclusively to illustration. Her interest in tradition and Portuguese culture are a landmark of her work. Expressions, people and traditional crafts are her main inspiration for building narratives, as well as everyday objects and poetry.
