Ceramics

Creative expression has played a predominant role in the artist’s life since childhood, and he embarks on his journey in the visual arts in a self-taught way. At the age of twenty-one, in a painting studio in São Paulo, he had his first experience as an apprentice. There he improves techniques and begins to develop his own ways of creating and materializing his work. After two years, he opened his first space on the city's outskirts, in the same neighborhood where he was born and raised.

At the beginning of the 2010s, shortly after completing a degree in Gastronomy at the Centro Universitário SENAC in São Paulo, he embarked on his international journey between London, Rome, and Lisbon.

In 2020, he began his Ceramics and Glass course at the Professional Training Center for Crafts and Heritage - CEARTE - in Coimbra. The internship stage takes place in Caldas da Rainha, where he finds a promising environment to set up his studio and pursue his research in ceramics and pottery.

Both handcrafted in stoneware pieces and glazed pieces, are fired at high temperatures (1250° C) in the studio using raw materials that are also food-safe.
