Textile

Sara Mazurca is a Lisbon-based artisan whose interests range from needlework and block print to homesteading and apiculture. In 2014, she traded the pursuit of a PhD in Biology for a life dedicated to artistic expression and the learning of various crafts with a focus on textiles.

The same year, Sara founded her own textile brand, MAZURCA. She combines traditional approaches with more innovative techniques, which reflect curiosity, keenness to experiment, and perpetual bewilderment with the human and natural worlds. Sara is still figuring out what she wants to be when she grows up.
